Little B

The rap ive been listening to has been extremely limited. essentially it's only been lil B (of the Pack; vans fame). He is incredibly prolific having thousands of songs out since starting his solo career, most of which he hosts on the internet for free download. He does a little of it all though. you can find him rapping over environmental sounds without drums. He talks about ellen degeneris (spelled wrong, dont care), guns, life, god, himself, women, drugs, skateboarding, clothes, cars, what people think of him, what he thinks of them, and that's it. He takes a quantity over quality approach similar to MFdoom and is seeing similar success.
His music is new, but he still rapps with his hands.

My friend daniel was saying one minute lil b is just saying some ridiculous something over and over like the track i got pretty bitches then out of nowhere he says something too real. I like that.
google him and tons of free downloads come up.

tripple update.

Im keeping my general/peugeot in my room right now, it looks real nice with the bedroom lights. the bike is updated a little (just sidecovers i think). I love this bike.  stats are down below in the earlier post. totally possible to make stock cases rip. and i would like to stress the importance of variator tuning. i also  stand behind the motobecane cdi on a peugeot mod. it's incredibly easy and worth it.

out of touch

After starting my teaching job and falling out of favor with the local moped shop goons, i have lost touch with the most important things. in order to prove my unending dedication to sophistication and leisure I am making this post with almost no interesting content to contribute.

I say almost because I am going to include a picture of my neglected magnum's engine. This engine has seen several incarnations as shown on this blog earlier. now the setup invloves:
e50 with:
64cc polini
dio intake
mikuni TM 24
estroil
stock 2shoe lightened

i have a super sick tight off the hook garelli clutch that my dude westseattle ryan made work for puch, but havent put it in yet. variated bikes are just more interesting to me these days. derbi, honda, peugeot.

here is the whole bike. pretty the same looking

the name of this gas station is: Gas sale! (ignore those gulf stickers) it was like 14cents less than anywhere else in NJ that we saw

Case matching Peugeot

This is the case matching that i did on my general peugeot mutant. stock cases match to 70cc gila with 3rd transfer opened up. engine stats are in the post below. Sandpaper, yee

It is important to get as close to that case bolt hole as possible. flow through the 3rd transfer is what makes the difference between peugeot and AV7 (that and a few other things). I ramped up into the intake a little bit too. Floetry.

I built a bike for Richmond

Ive been wanting to weld up this 103 mount, swing arm, engine, and rear wheel up to something cool for a while. My friend Sara had a general that she said i could have if i taught her everything i know. Deal.

i made this bike happen in a week or so. super rush.
I had the kit, carb, and variator lying around so..
here are the stats

gila kit
tsm head that i hand machined to 70cc. lots of sanding
stock cases matched 3rd eye opened and could be done bigger/better stock crank
4petal malossi intake/ 19mm clamp phbg. spigot wouldnt fit. (it does in my tsm) 92 main, stock needle and idle jet
MBK CDI. works great (thanks Drew)
Gianelli pipe. looks almost identical to doppler.

It ran great at the rally never went above 409degrees. i kind of babied it though. I did push it and went a bit past 50 on the speedo. It has a dip before the pipe hits that i need to tune out.
I have streetmate front end that im gonna get on there when i have some time.
I was riding around and got pulled over and lectured by a scooter cop. he went off the rails saying he could take me to jail right now. On your scooter or what? I went to register it today but the DMV had no heart. ill go back to try the same thing next week in BK.

the bike now has the little side covers that say 5star in the back. I welded up a bracket for a LED tail light. all the wires and cables are a mess. i like it like that.
Im also gonna double up on those square headlights.
the pipe clears curbs too. i was afraid it was too low. it's just fine.

ill get more pics up when i register it and am riding it more

PP rebuild

yes. I rebuilt my PP motor and slapped it all together.

it took most of a day and Im glad i did it all in one go because it would have sucked to pick it back up later and forget where everything goes.

i wanted to document the process but i forgot my camera at home. I called pete and asked him to bring his. i was already reassembeling it by the time he got to the shop and my hands were FILTHY and i didnt want to soil his camera. It took quite a bit of work to get the gila to fit right too and im not confident that it is done. I bought a new piston for this cylinder and the next step is to put that in and make gaskets and see how everything fits together.
my tjt came with no weights so i used what leftovers Ari had from his, so there is alternating blue and pink weights now. we will see what it needs when is start tuning.

Gucci my dude

I love Gucci so much I cant even explain it. Something about him is so complex yet simple. firm yet gentle. I hope he never gets over the stuffy nose he has had for years.
Consistently Gucci. 2high2die

Look who dumb

I got another stupid project.
I wanted to do a piston port derbi with puch gila since i saw Sam Mckay's in louisville. it was stupid fast. I ran over a nail and got to sit and wait for the paddy wagon with benji and Johno. Sam cruised back from the pack to see if his dudes were ok. we were, so he zoomed back to the pack. he got bored of riding with the pack so he zipped back to us to hang out some more. when we got picked up 30 minutes later he scooted away and caught back up with everyone no problemo. his was on a batavus hs50 frame blk as fuk.

Heres mine

clip on Barz

the engine:

that seat is just a stock variant seat i have. I plan to make a GP seat out of a magnum seat pan. Im going to do 24oko and maybe experiment with getting a peugeot or motobecane pipe on there. im gonna put some shorter shocks on there too. the back is real tall. ill add pics of the build as it progresses.
